Life is Short ... Live with Urgency!

Urgency is one of those words that has recieved a bad rap. All too often we associate urgency with a hurried, frantic, reckless pace and we automatically see it as being diametrically opposed to anything of importance. Life is either made up of important or urgent things and "never the twain shall meet".

I don't believe that to be true.

To me, living with urgency is understanding and accepting that my days on Planet Earth are limited and passing rapidly by. Living with urgency means that I press importance into each day of my life, knowing that it might just be my last. It means making sure that I spend my time on valuable pursuits, such as loving my wife and children and using my gifts and talents to help others on their life journey.

Living with urgency is, to me at least, a "no brainer". How can we not live with urgency?

Living with urgency is the central theme of 4th Quarter Strategies. If you would like to know more, visit me at http://www.roneckberg.com/. I look forward to hearing from you.
